- Work on the Unit 1 Summative Assignment from last week -- reflective essay or one-pager

- Introduce the Grammar Project. See files above for information shared in class. Topics include: parallel structure/parallelism, comma splice, semi-colon and colon use, faulty pronoun reference/unclear antecedent, comma use, dangling and misplaced modifiers, run-ons and sentence fragments, subject-verb agreement
- Work on Grammar Project.
Wednesday
- Work on the Grammar Project
- Begin by researching your topic using grammar sites such as Purdue Owl, Grammarly, Grammar.com
- Start gathering info to create your 1-2 page note - use text features such as bullets, bolding, italics, underlining, spacing. Remember to make your note concise, meaning avoid using long paragraphs to explain ideas -- use point-form as much as possible.
Thursday
- Work on the Grammar Project.
- Start thinking about what kind of game you are going to create in order for students to demonstrate their understanding of the grammar topic. What are some games you enjoy that could be converted into a grammar game? Kahoot, Jeopardy, etc.
- I will show you how to create a Kahoot
Friday
- Continue working on the Grammar Project. Your 1-2 page note should be completed at this point, and now you should be creating a visual for the presentation part: slideshow, poster, or ?
- Due today: Summative Assignment from last week (you can complete this assignment over the spring break if you need more time)

- Practice your presentation
- Begin Grammar Project Presentations - Gallery Walk Style = small group presentations in various locations in the library.

- Grammar Project Presentations
- Finish your reflective essay or one-pager if you have not already done so.
- Complete or revise any assignments for Ms. Paty. The cut-off for handing these in is this Friday.
